During home football games, volunteers are needed to help get the band on and off the field at halftime. 10 to 12 volunteers is perfect. If you want to volunteer for this, send us an email and we'll get you added to the list.
The Holland High School Marching Band competes in the MSBOA and the MCBA. These competitions require the entire front ensemble, large speakers, podiums, props and more. We need at least 12 parents to assist at each competition.
Every Saturday in October and the first Saturday in November, the band competes. They practice at the high school prior to leaving for the competition. The HBPA provides a meal at this time. We need volunteers to help set up, serve and clean up.
Holland Bands and the HBPA definitely needs the support of the community.
Typically the HBPA Board typically meets once each month on the first Wednesday. The date may be changed if necessary based on the availability of the majority of the board.
ALL ARE WELCOME and ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!
NEXT MEETING: Monday, November 11, 2024
Location: Tulip City Brewstillery, 17th St. in the South Shore area.
Jazz is Holland Bands "zero hour" class. It starts at 6:45 a.m. during the school year. The jazz band is a lot of fun and truly showcases how talented our students are!
We've started a YouTube Channel! Find it here!
(Note: it's brand new! More coming soon).
